Officer Kyle Buck started his career in 2015 when he graduated from the Police Academy. Since then, he has attended advanced training in Motor Vehicle Enforcement and Accident Reconstruction. He was assigned to the School Resource Officer (SRO) position where he utilized his traffic safety training and experience to conduct multiple presentations annually for the local high school and middle school.
In 2021, Officer Buck was promoted to Sergeant and acted as the supervisor of the Juvenile Bureau. In 2023, Sergeant Buck left the SRO position to lead the Traffic Bureau, where he currently remains as the head of the Fatal Crash Reconstruction Team. Sergeant Buck is a Certified Traffic Safety Specialist, Accident Reconstructionist, Lead Firearms Instructor, Defensive Weapons Instructor, and is a part of the hiring process for his department. He is also in charge of planning and coordinating annual Active Shooter Response training for his agency and others as well. He now strives to utilize his knowledge and experience to train the public in safe driving, situational security, as well as coach potential aspiring law enforcement to achieve their goal of employment!
